Sunset Viaje was founded by two lifelong travellers, Belgian-born Lieven and British-born Charlie, who share a deep passion for Latin America’s culture, landscapes and people. With over three decades of combined experience working in tourism in Nicaragua and Costa Rica – including more than 12 years in tourism and 7 years living in Nicaragua for Lieven – we bring a long-term commitment to the country and its communities.

Our wider team includes Nicaraguan and Central American guides, vetted drivers and local hosts who know the roads, seasons and neighbourhoods intimately. We speak English, Spanish and several European languages, which helps us bridge the gap between international guests and local partners.
